Welcome!

Welcome to our website. We hope that you'll take some time to find out more about our church while you're here. Furthermore, we pray that you'll come visit us sometime for worship, the central purpose of the church. The worship at Palm Chapel takes place much in the same way it did 2000 years ago when Christ established the church. We worship through singing – “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;” Ephesians 5:19. We worship through prayer – “To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, and called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 1:7. Finally, we worship through the preaching of God's word – “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which comparing spiritual Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1 Corinthians 2:12-13.

In this worship, we desire in every way to follow the Word of God as our only rule of faith and practice. Continuing with the New Testament model, we desire to have our families worship together in an inclusive setting. At Palm Chapel, we worship together: young and old, rich and poor, single and married. By following the model presented by Christ and the apostles, we hope to stand out from the world, not being conformed – “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:2. In simpler terms, the Church, and God's people, ought to stand out and avoid the trappings of looking like the world. For that reason, during worship, you'll be presented with something that you just can't get from the world. If you're seeking honest, simple, bible based worship, come and visit us. We have lunch at the church building every Sunday to encourage fellowship one with another. You’re welcome to join us!
